Simak tawarannya yang akan membawa aran Google Weblogs atau GWeblogs atau juga Gblogs (jangan salah baca jadi goblog ya :D).

- Tak mesti diurut berdasarkan urutan tanggal, karena secara otomatis layanan ini akan menampilkan postingan paling ramai di bagian atas blog.
- Tak perlu bingung menambahkan sidebar tambahan, karena secara otomatis (lagi) mereka akan menggabungkan postingan yang relevan dalam sidebar tersendiri.
- Tak perlu merisaukan Page Ranking, secara otomatis (lagi) mereka membenamkannya ke pencarian Google agar lebih mudah terlihat pengunjung.
- Tak perlu bingung ingin pasang gambar apa dibagian header, mereka akan secara otomatis (lagi lagi nih…) menampilkan gambar segar setiap kali ada even tertentu (seperti halnya saat kita lihat gambar bunga di mesin pencari google saat valentine ya?)

Bagaimana? puas? Tentu belum bila belum melihat contohnya kan?, sabar ya, bila mereka telah mengabarkan hal ini artinya sudah ada versi beta yang sedang diujikan. Tinggal kita tunggu saja gebrakan mereka.

Berikut caranya :

Bila ingin menyimpan posting, maka kita perlu mengeskpor blog. Caranya adalah masuk ke bagian Pengaturan, lalu perhatikan bagian Impor Blog, Ekspor Blog atau Hapus Blog.

Nantinya kita akan menyimpan file dengan ekstensi .xml. File inilah yang menjadi isi dari postingan kita.

Bila ingin membuat blog baru dan menghisap sari-sari posting sebelumnya, maka klik Ciptakan Blog Baru, lalu intip bagian bawah ada Setting Blog Tingkat Lanjut, pilih bagian ini.

Lanjutkan dengan mengunggah (upload) file xml dari blog yang sebelumnya kita impor di halaman selanjutnya.

Artinya, pintar-pintar kita menyimpan, menyusun dan juga menampilkan posting mana saja yang sekiranya perlu. Mudah kan?

For many years bloggers on other platforms were frustated by the inability to import their blogs to Blogger. One had to copy and paste each post individually from a non-Blogger blog to a Blogger blog. Those days are over now since Blogger has introduced import-export facility available at the moment only through Blogger-in-Draft.


You can import posts and comments from any blogging platform which gives you ability to export your blog as an XML file.
This is how to do it from Wordpress to Blogger........

EXOPRT FROM WORDPRESS

Login to your Wordpress blog (Site Admin) :

http://MYBLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

Click the 'Manage' link at the top.

Click the 'Export' subtab of the Manage tab.

You can choose to export posts from a single author or from all authors.

Click 'Download Export File'.

Click Save in the popup window.

Choose a location on your disk and click Save in the explorer window.

An XML file is saved on your disk. Remember the location where it is saved.

IMPORT TO EXISTING BLOG

IMPORT TO BLOGGER

Login at Blogger in Draft : http://draft.blogger.com.

Click 'Create a Blog' link on Dashboard.

Under Advanced Options, click the Import Blog Tool link.

Click 'Browse' button.

Explorer window will open.

Navigate to where you saved the XML file exported from Wordpress.

Click on the file to choose it.

Click 'Open' in the explorer window.

Type in the Word Verification letters.

Click Upload arrow at the bottom.

IMPORT TO EXISTING BLOG

Login at Blogger in Draft as before.

Click Settings link under the Blog title.

Click Import Blog link under Blog Tools on Basic subtab.

Follow same steps to upload the XML file exported from Wordpress.

Check the box next to Automatically publish all imported posts before you click Import Blog or else you will have to publish them separately afterwards.



IMPORTANT NOTE : This feature is at present offered only from Blogger in Draft but soon after all the bugs have been ironed out you will be able to do this directly from Blogger.com.
